The Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) International is a non-profit, public benefit organization who's mission is to exposing and eradicate violations of human rights by the field of psychiatry. They have several pages on their website related to the dangers of Psychiatric Drugs.

Don't think the Psychiatric Community don’t know the dangers they are creating! The scientific research documenting the connection between violence, suicide and psychiatric drugs is overwhelming. Revealed in a statement by Candace B. Pert, Research Professor at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, as published in the October 20, 1997 issue of Time magazine: "I am alarmed at the monster that Johns Hopkins neuroscientist Solomon Snyder and I created when we discovered the simple binding assay for drug receptors 25 years ago....The public is being misinformed about the precision of these selective Serotonin-uptake inhibitors when the medical profession over-simplifies their action in the brain..."   Source: http://www.cchr.org

PSYCHIATRY BETRAYING & DRUGGING CHILDREN FOR PROFIT

Harming Lives is a publication with several articles about how the Psychiatric Community is knowingly drugging our children for profit. They are no different than the drug pushers selling drugs on the playground of your local school, with one exception... they do it with the help of school administrators and school nurses. Not only does our government allow them to do this legally, they pay bounties on the heads of our children in the form of funding to the school for every child the get classified as having a "learning disorder!"

Since 1994, Mrs. Johnson has fought tirelessly for parental rights to informed consent concerning the wide use of invasive psychological curriculums and assessments, and psychotropic drugs in schools. In accepting her Human Rights Award, Mrs. Johnson said, "The Columbine school massacre rang an alarm about the causal effects of psychiatric drugs on teen violence that could no longer be ignored. I also knew of parents who had been threatened or coerced by school authorities to have their children placed on Ritalin and drugs like Luvox which Columbine’s Eric Harris was taking. This drug emphasis has been propelling teachers to act outside their academic role and has pitched parents and teachers against each other. Where once there were well structured and academic-based classrooms, today the emphasis is on self esteem and turning schools into behavioral clinics. The solution has become the problem and violence is a consequence."

With some 5 million American children consuming 90 percent of the world’s Ritalin supply, Pennsylvania State Representative LeAnna Washington has been an outspoken critic of the rapidly escalating level of children being legally prescribed mind-altering drugs. When presented her Human Rights Award, Rep. Washington said: "The effects of psychiatric drugs on children have been catastrophic, depriving them of proper medical assessment which could pinpoint underlying, untreated physical complaints that may be effecting behavior, denying them necessary tutoring, and sentencing them to a drugged euphoria that can result in violence."   Source: http://www.cchr.org.
